At Wandy’s Event Planning we design and and manage exceptional celebrations. From small intimate gatherings to large and lavish affairs. Our weddings and events are memorable and beautifully executed.
What We do
We are a team of eight passionate, design-savvy individuals. We work and play well together and we love what we do; this is evident in each and every event we produce.
My team and I produce on average 8-12 weddings a year. Our strengths complement each other, allowing us to be a rare combination of visionary and detail-oriented, as well as intensely dedicated and hospitable. We are all aware of the latest trends, but are not compelled to follow them as we marry our ideas and the client’s. We know and appreciate all of the classic rules of etiquette, and we can either follow them “to a T”, or throw them out the window. We understand the challenges that come with merging families and cultures. Having planned so many private weddings, we are well versed in diplomacy.
We push ourselves to do and try new things, our motto is: The Event you’re imagining done! As a result, we create events that are one of a kind. And of course, an experience you’ll love and remember.
About the Owner
Waunder’s passions include traveling, meeting new people, and learning something new each day. This is true in both her personal life and her career. She has been in the event management business for 8 years and have traveled extensively producing over 80 events in 5 countries—each expanding her horizons in some way. Today, she constantly seeking projects that expose her to new challenges. Whether it means doing an event in a new city, using technology in an entirely new way, or bringing an ambitious idea to life, She’s game!
Just like you, Waunder wants to create that completely original, utterly unforgettable event. But most importantly, she wants it to be a reflection of you and bring out the best in you. If you want zombies at your 50th birthday party, or a Beatles-go-to-India themed wedding, she will make it happen.
To do this, Waunder looks for clients who are adventurous, open to collaborating, and up for doing something that’s never been done. For example, creating a cultural wedding theme where carnival meets tropical at The Fort Young Hotel, or a lake wedding at the Fresh Water Lake in Dominica.
When she’s not working on an event, She’s a dental hygienist in Dominica and live with her daughter and terrier Echo. To recharge, she cooks and entertain friends… Not forgetting, She’s a devout Michael Jackson fan, so his music is never far from the entertainment.
